Registered Nurse - ICU
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and procedures such as venipuncture and spinal taps
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to changes in patients' conditions
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Assist with case management and coordination of care
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting
- Proficient in CT scanning, mammography, neonatal ventilator management, sterile processing, and catheterization
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
